This morning, listeners to ESPN 1410 and 98.1 FM were treated to a wonderful holiday treat! Reindeer Radio 1410 and 98.1 is playing Christmas music 24 hours a day through the holidays. Management of the radio station is tight lipped on what will happen on December 26th but they are assuring listeners and clients that local sports, Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Royals will still be a big part of what goes on the air.

(BREAKING / VIDEO) BOSTON BOMBING SUSPECT #2 IN CUSTODY
WATERTOWN, Mass. (AP) — Boston Police say a 19-year-old college student wanted in the Boston Marathon bombings is in custody after a manhunt that left the city virtually paralyzed and his older brother and accomplice dead.
Police announced via Twitter that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev (JOH’-kahr tsahr-NY’-ev) was in custody. His brother, 26-year-old Tamerlan, was killed Friday in a furious attempt to escape police.
The brothers are suspects in Monday’s marathon bombings, which killed three people and wounded more than 180 others. The men are also suspected of killing a Massachusetts Institute of Technology police officer in his vehicle late Thursday.
Authorities in Boston had suspended all mass transit and warned close to 1 million people in the entire city and some of its suburbs to stay indoors as the hunt for the remaining suspect went on.
Crowds gathered after a nearly 28 hour lockdown to applaud and cheer the Boston area authorities.
Johnathon Winters – Dead at 87
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Comedian Jonathan Winters, whose breakneck improvisations inspired Robin Williams, Jim Carrey and many others, has died at age 87.
Longtime family friend Joe Petro III says the Ohio native died Thursday evening at his Montecito, Calif., home of natural causes.
Winters was a master of improvisational comedy, with a grab bag of eccentric personalities and facial expressions. Characters such as the dirty old lady Maude Frickert were based on people Winters knew growing up in Ohio.
In the mid-1950s, “The Jonathan Winters Show” pioneered the then-new videotape technology on to do stunts like showing up as two characters on screen together.
He was introduced to millions of new fans in 1981 as the son of Williams’ goofball alien in the final season of ABC’s “Mork and Mindy.”

The city of North Platte is declaring a local SNOW ALERT which usually means that a SNOW EMERGENCY is probable.
A SNOW ALERT means weather conditions are favorable for a heavy snowfall, and it will usually be used prior to the more serious SNOW EMERGENCY. The purpose of a SNOW ALERT is to give you more advance warning to move your vehicles from snow routes before conditions require officials to activate the SNOW EMERGENCY.
