YORK, Neb. (AP) – Sentencing has been set for a Lincoln man who
was found guilty of three charges in a crime spree that started in
York County.
The York News-Times reports 33-year-old Jeremy Foster faces up
to 60 years in prison for burglary, strangulation and assault.
Sentencing was set for July 5.
Foster was convicted in Seward County after his trial was moved
out of York County.
Prosecutors say Foster broke into a farmhouse in rural York
County in August 2008, assaulted a woman inside, then took off with
stolen guns. Later that day, authorities say, Foster entered a bar
in Butler County, assaulted another woman and fled in a stolen car.
He was arrested after a crash.
Foster is already serving a 45-year sentence on charges from the
Butler County crimes.
