A matchup of two talented young righthanded pitchers highlights tonight’s action at Coors Field, where the Colorado Rockies and Washington Nationals play game two of their four-game series. Juan Nicasio gets the starting assignment for the Rockies. The 24 year-old has not lost a home start, going 4-0 with a 1.58 ERA in Denver. Opposing him for the Nationals is Jordan Zimmerman, a 25 year-old who has come back strong from Tommy John Surgery to post a 3.12 ERA this season. Zimmerman threw six and two thirds innings of shutout ball against the Rockies in a win back on July 10. The Rockies topped the Nationals 6-3 last night to snap a four-game losing streak. Hear the Rockies go for two wins in a row tonight on ESPN Radio 1410. Pregame coverage starts at 7:05 with the first pitch set for 7:40.
