Four home runs weren’t enough for the Colorado Rockies last night, as they fell to the Florida Marlins 6-5 at Coors Field. After a walk-off win the night before, the Rockies fell behind 3-0 before they even had a chance to bat, as starting pitcher Jhoulys Chacin struggled to his worst start of the season. Chacin would allow five runs in just four innings of work. Troy Tulowitzki and Seth Smith hit solo homers in the second inning to get the Rockies on the board, and Carlos Gonzalez added a solo blast in the fourth. With the Rockies down 6-3 and two out in the ninth, Jason Giambi smacked a two-run pinch-hit homer, but Dexter Fowler made the final out with the tying run on base. The Rockies and Marlins wrap up their series tonight in Denver. ESPN Radio 1410 has the action with pregame coverage at 7:05 and the first pitch at 7:40.
