Denver Broncos safety David Bruton is resting comfortably at home after being released from a Denver hospital Sunday afternoon. Bruton suffered a head injury when he was hit helmet-to-helmet in the second half of the Broncos’ 24-13 preseason victory over the Buffalo Bills on Saturday night. He stayed down on the field for several minutes before being helped to the sideline by trainers, and left the stadium in an ambulance after the game ended to spend the night at a hospital for observation. The third-year defensive back from Notre Dame has been playing with the third team on defense in the preseason, but is on the first team special teams units as he fights for a roster spot. The Broncos are back on the field this Saturday when they host the Seattle Seahawks in their third preseason game.
