The tenth-ranked Nebraska Huskers are 2-0, but the record doesn’t tell the story of some of the difficulties that the team has had getting to that point. After last week’s 42-29 win over Fresno State, the focus was on the struggles of the defense. In his typically terse Thursday post-practice remarks, Husker head coach Bo Pelini says he thinks the defense had a good week of preparation for Saturday’s game against Washington. The Huskers split with the Huskies last season, with Nebraska winning on the road and Washignton winning in the Holiday Bowl. Kickoff tomorrow at Memorial Stadium is set for 2:30.
