The Rockies didn’t score until Jordan Pacheco’s RBI single in the ninth inning drew them within a run, but Padres closer Heath Bell finished off the game to send the Rox to defeat. Jhoulys Chacin took the loss on the mound but pitched well, allowing two runs, one earned, in six innings. The Rockies play their last home game this afternoon, with Aaron Cook getting the start against San Diego’s Anthony Bass.
