The seventh-ranked Husker volleyball team has now been road-tested in the Big Ten, and they remain undefeated. Nebraska topped Michigan State and seventeenth-ranked Michigan on back to back nights this weekend. On Friday night in East Lansing, the Huskers beat the Spartans in five sets. Nebraska lost the second and third sets to fall behind but battled back and won the fifth set 16-14. Morgan Broekhuis’s 22 kills led the Huskers, while Gina Mancuso had a double-double with 12 kills and 10 digs. Saturday night in Ann Arbor, the Huskers swept the Wolverines 17, 24, and 16. Broekhuis was the leading attacker again with 13 kills, with Mancuso chipping in seven and Brooke Delano adding nine. The Huskers return to the NU Coliseum this weekend as they host Purdue Friday and Indiana Saturday.
