Huskers Set To Travel To Minnesota

The thirteenth-ranked Husker football team had to wait two weeks to follow up the greatest comeback in school history. They’ll return to the field this Saturday in a Big Ten road contest against Minnesota. With the bye week giving the Huskers an extra week of preparation for the Golden Gophers, Husker head coach Bo Pelini likes the progress his team has made. “I thought it was a really good week,” Pelini said. “I thought we had a great week of preparation. When you combine last week and what we were able to accomplish last week, we had four good days of practice. I feel like we got better during the week of practice. I told the team it’s time to put it to the test on Saturday.” The Huskers have won the last 14 meetings against Minnesota. Tomorrow’s game will be nationally televised on ABC. Kickoff is set for 2:30.
