After leaving some doubt with his remarks in his postgame press conference Sunday, Denver Broncos head coach John Fox left no doubts in his press conference yesterday, saying that Tim Tebow will remain the team’s starting quarterback this week. Questions arose after Tebow submitted an ugly performance in a 45-10 loss to the Detroit Lions in Denver on Sunday. Tebow completed less than 50 percent of his passes, was sacked seven times, lost a fumble that was returned for a touchdown and threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown. The Broncos dropped to 2-5 with the loss and now must head to the hostile Black Hole in Oakland to take on the Raiders. Fox was optimistic about running back Willis McGahee’s chance to play against the Raiders after missing the Lions game with a broken hand.
