The North Platte Community College men’s and women’s basketball teams return to the court today after perfect starts to their seasons. The Lady Knights defeated NCTA and the junior varsity teams from Doane College and Hastings College at McDonald-Belton Gymnasium last week to start their campaign 3-0. This weekend they head to Northeast Community College in Norfolk for a tournament. They take on Des Moines Area Community College today and face Iowa Lakes Community College tomorrow. The Knights men went 2-0 at the McCook Classic last weekend. They return to the road for a pair of games at Garden City Community College this weekend. Tonight, the Knights take on the tournament hosts, and tomorrow they do battle with Seward County Community College.
