The nineteenth-ranked Huskers built a 17-point lead and the defense made it stand up late in a 17-14 victory at Penn State on Saturday. The win moves the Huskers to 8-2 on the season and 4-2 in the Big Ten. Next up for the Big Red is a visit to twenty-second-ranked Michigan this coming Saturday.
