The Huskers fell hard in Ann Arbor on Saturday, and consequently fell in the polls on Sunday. The Huskers are down to 22nd in both major polls, falling five spots in the AP poll and six spots in the USA Today Coaches poll, after their 45-17 loss to Michigan. The 8-3 Huskers are 21st in the newest edition of the BCS Rankings. The Huskers were officially eliminated from Big Ten Legends Division title contention with the loss, in which the Huskers were outscored 28-7 in the second half. They turned the ball over three times and held possession for just under 19 minutes, both factors leading to the one-sided defeat. The Huskers have a short week this week in preparing for their final game of the regular season. They will host Iowa in the inaugural ‘Heroes Game’ Friday afternoon at 11 AM.
