Both of Nebraska’s basketball teams went down to defeat in their Big Ten/ACC Challenge matchups last night. The Husker women are unbeaten no more after a 73-57 loss at Georgia Tech. The Huskers shot just 32 percent from the field and committed 26 turnovers. Lindsay Moore scored 16 points and Jordan Hooper contributed 15 points and 10 rebounds in the defeat. The Husker women drop to 6-1. The Husker men lost a heartbreaker at the Devaney Center to Wake Forest, 55-53. CJ Harris’s layup with three seconds left was the winning basket for the Demon Deacons. Bo Spencer scored 13 points to lead the Huskers. Toney McCray and Jorge Brian Diaz each had 12 points. The Husker men fall to 4-1. Next up, the Husker women host Texas-Pan American on Sunday, and the men visit Creighton, also on Sunday.
