Husker Men Host Florida Gulf Coast

The Nebraska basketball team looks to snap a two-game losing streak, and could hardly have picked a better opponent for the occasion, as the Huskers welcome Florida Gulf Coast University to the Devaney Center tonight. The Huskers look to regroup following Sunday’s 76-66 loss at Creighton. The Huskers overcame a nine-point first half deficit to take a 42-37 lead midway through the second half, but were done in by Creighton’s 11-0 run, highlighted by a pair of controversial technical fouls on the Huskers. Bo Spencer’s 29 points led the Huskers in the defeat. Nebraska comes into Wednesday’s game with a 4-3 record. Florida Gulf Coast comes in with a 3-5 record on the season following a 72-63 win over East Tennessee State on Saturday. Tipoff in Lincoln tonight is scheduled for 7 PM.
