The North Platte Community College mens and womens basketball teams both fell to defeat at Northeastern Junior College last night. The Lady Knights fell victim to a 13-0 first-half run by the Plainswomen and couldn’t catch up, losing by a score of 73-46. Destini Lewis was the lone Lady Knight to score in double figures, notching 18 points. The Lady Knights drop to 7-5 on the season. The Knights men lost their third straight game, falling to the Plainsmen 88-76. Nick Tomsick paced four Knights in double figures with 21 points. The loss drops the Knights to 6-4.
