AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL DROP THROUGH THE REGION THIS
AFTERNOON INTO THURSDAY BRINGING LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS TO
WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA. AT THIS TIME…SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE WEST OF A LINE FROM
VALENTINE THROUGH OGALLALA AND IMPERIAL. TO THE EAST…SNOWFALL
AMOUNTS AROUND AN INCH ARE POSSIBLE. NORTH WINDS WILL INCREASE TO
15 TO 25 MPH AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING. THIS
WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW WITH
REDUCED VISIBILITY IN OPEN AREAS. THOSE PLANNING HOLIDAY TRAVEL
ACROSS WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR
WINTER DRIVING CONDITIONS WITH TRAVEL DELAYS POSSIBLE. LISTEN FOR
THE LATEST STATEMENTS ON THIS DEVELOPING STORM SYSTEM. CONDITIONS
ARE EXPECTED TO IMPROVE BY THURSDAY AFTERNOON AS THE SYSTEM DROPS
