After Mother Nature played havoc with the weekend’s prep sports schedule, local teams who had games postponed will get back into action tonight. It’s a battle of Lincoln County on the hardwood in Hershey this evening, as the Panthers welcome the Maxwell Wildcats to town. The Panther boys have been playing well in 2012, winning seven of their eight games in the new calendar year. They’re 11-4 on the season. The Lady Panthers are 13-5 after beating Sidney last Saturday. Maxwell’s hoopsters are looking to get on the winning track. The boys have lost four straight to drop to 5-11 on the season, while the girls have dropped three straight and are now 9-8. Q-Country 107.3 will broadcast the action from Hershey tonight.
