Husker Women Try to Snap Losing Streak at Home

The 16th-ranked Nebraska women’s basketball team looks to snap a two-game losing streak as they return home tonight to host Northwestern. The Huskers have lost back-to-back games for only the second time this season, falling at home to Michigan and on the road against Minnesota. They’ve fallen out of the lead in the Big Ten Conference, and are now 8-4 in league play. They’re still looking for their 20th win, which would give them the 13th 20-win season in program history. Northwestern enters tonight’s game on a three-game losing skid of their own, and are 3-9 in Big Ten action. Nebraska is 4-1 against the Wildcats all time, with a win in their last meeting back in 2006. This is their first meeting as conference foes. Tip-off at the Devaney Center tonight is scheduled for 7:05.
