David Kelly, the actor best known for playing Grandpa Joe in Tim Burton’s 2005 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has died at the age of 82. RTE confirmed that the Irish actor passed away in Dublin after a short illness. His other memorable roles include the 1998 comedyWaking Ned Devine in which he played Michael O’Sullivan.
