Four Husker Women’s Hoopsters Earn All-Big Ten Honors

Four Nebraska women’s basketball players were honored with the announcement of the All-Big Ten teams yesterday afternoon. Sophomore forward Jordan Hooper was named to the All-Big Ten first team. The Huskers’ leading scorer and rebounder became the fifth sophomore in program history to earn first-team all-conference honors and the first since Kelsey Griffin in 2007. Junior Lindsey Moore was named to the second team, the second straight year the Husker point guard has received second-team conference honors. Freshman forward Emily Cady earned a spot on the all-freshman team and was also named honorable mention all-conference. Senior guard Kaitlyn Burke garnered a spot on the conference’s Sportsmanship team. The Huskers open Big Ten tournament play on Thursday afternoon
