Husker Men Set Record For Single-Season Home Losses

The Nebraska men’s basketball team has now lost more home games this season than in any other season in the program’s history. The Huskers were beaten by Iowa 62-53 on Senior Night at the Devaney Center last night. Nebraska shot just 36.5 percent from the field and missed 20 of their 24 three-point attempts. Brandon Ubel led the Huskers with 17 points in the defeat. Caleb Walker, one of four Huskers playing their final home games, chipped in with 15 points. The loss drops the Huskers to 12-16 and 4-13 in Big Ten play. It is the eighth home loss for the Big Red this season, a new program record. The Huskers have one more regular season game before the Big Ten tournament. They are in action on Saturday afternoon, when they trek north to face Minnesota.
