Huskers Open Four-Game Set With No. 21 California

The Nebraska baseball team welcomes a College World Series qualifier from last season to Hawks Field today for the start of a four-game series. The California Golden Bears come to Lincoln ranked 21st in the country with a 9-2 record. The Huskers are 8-4 and have won eight of their last nine games, including four in a row. The series opens with today’s first game at 1:35. Zach Hirsch gets the start on the mound for the Big Red, opposing Cal’s Justin Jones.
