Traffic stops by Nebraska state troopers have yielded 162 pounds of marijuana and two suspects. The Nebraska State Patrol says a trooper pulled over an eastbound car just after 2 p.m. Monday near the Lincoln Airport exit off Interstate 80. The trooper says the driver gave permission for a search of the car. The patrol says 108 pounds of pot was found inside luggage in the trunk.

Earlier Monday, a trooper pulled over an eastbound car near the I-80 Milford exit. The trooper reported that the odor of marijuana was coming from the vehicle, so it was searched. The patrol says 54 pounds of pot was secreted inside a suitcase in the trunk. Both drivers were traveling alone. They were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to deliver.
