(From the North Platte / Lincoln County Visitors Bureau)
Not only have a lot of people spent a lot of time planning fun St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, the weather man has put a lot of effort into the weather, and we should have temperatures into the mid 70’s for Saturday. Absolutely perfect for getting out there and enjoying the day!
All day at the Children’s Museum, those wearing green will be receive $1.00 off regular admission. Then there’s North Platte’s First Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade downtown at 10am. (For those wishing to have an entry, email the Flatrock Irregulars). It should be a great start to a new local tradition. Join your friends later for Irish music at the Espresso Shoppe.
For adult entertainment, many local pubs have planned festivities including The Bar in Hershey, Sculley’s Shooters, and the Touchdown Club.
Not necessarily related to the day is the Big Red Sports Banquet and the Community Concert Series performance by Riders in the Sky. Check out the listings below for the details.
