Unseasonably warm temperatures will continue into the weekend with afternoon highs in the 70s and lower 80s. The warm temperatures will increase fire danger especially in central and western areas. An upper level trough will begin to approach the Central Plains early next week. This feature will bring cooler temperatures and a chance for showers and thunderstorms to Western and North Central Nebraska.
