Broncos Sign CB Porter to One-Year Deal

The Denver Broncos have reached an agreement with free agent cornerback Tracy Porter. Porter, a 25-year old veteran of four NFL seasons, will sign a one-year contract. Porter had played his entire career with the New Orleans Saints, where he’s tallied seven career interceptions. Ironically, the most famous play of Porter’s career was his pick-six in Super Bowl XLIV against new Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts. Porter is expected to start along with Champ Bailey at corner for the Broncos next season. Porter is the fourth free agent to agree to terms with the Broncos this offseason, joining Manning, safety Mike Adams, and receiver Andre Caldwell. The Broncos remain in talks to bring in a pair of Manning’s former Colt teammates: tight end Dallas Clark and center Jeff Saturday.
