Huskers Visit Kansas State For Third Meeting This Season

Husker baseball hopes to rebound from a disappointing weekend on the road by traveling to Manhattan, Kansas and earning a third win in three tries against Kansas State tonight. The Huskers dropped two out of three games at Northwestern this past weekend in their first Big Ten road series of the season, dropping their conference record to 3-3 and overall record to 19-11. Tonight, they meet a familiar foe – not just historically, but recently. Nebraska has hosted Kansas State twice the season, defeating the Wildcats 9-6 back on March 6 and knocking them off 6-3 on March 27. Left-hander Tyler King will start on the mound for the Huskers. It’s the sophomore’s first career starting assignment. K-State will counter with a sophomore lefty of their own, Jared Moore. First pitch tonight is set for 6:35.
