The Husker softball team is hoping to start a new winning streak this evening as they host Illinois in a Big Ten conference doubleheader. After their nine-game winning streak was snapped with a pair of losses at Minnesota last week, the Huskers rebounded to beat the Gophers on Sunday and move their conference record to 4-2 and overall record to 21-14. Game one of today’s doubleheader will start at 3 PM, with the nightcap set for 5 PM.
