The Husker softball team picked up a weekend sweep over Illinois in Big Ten conference play in Lincoln. On Friday the Huskers defeated the Illini in both ends of a doubleheader, 11-0 and 5-1. Ashley Hagemann hurled a no-hitter in the first game. Saturday, the Big Red notched a 4-1 victory. The Huskers are now 24-14 and 7-2 in conference action. They host Creighton under the lights on Wednesday.
