“The Marvelous Wonderettes” takes you to the 1958 Springfield High School prom, where we meet the Wonderettes-Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy and Suzy, four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their skirts, and the voices to match. In the first act, we learn about their lives and love, as the girls perform beautiful tight harmonies from classic 50’s song. Then in the second act, we join the girls at their ten-year reunion where we see how their friendships have changed and endured as they perform soulful renditions of classic tunes from the 60’s.

The cast consists of veteran actors Leah Purdy as Missy, Vicky Van Velson as Suzy, Deb Stadler-Stone as Betty Jean and Donna Pucket as Cindy Lou, with cameo appearances by Lynette Niles as Miss McPherson and Jamie Panzer as a Student.
