The Huskers hope to get back on track starting tonight, as they make the short trek to Omaha for their second meeting of the year against Creighton. The Big Red knocked off the Blue Jays 5-3 at Hawks Field in their first meeting two Tuesday’s ago. Creighton has struggled mightly this season to the tune of a 15-18 overall record, while the Huskers dropped to 26-15 on the season Righty Ryan Hander, who has made ten relief appearances this season and owns a 1.35 ERA, will make the first start of his career tonight. He’ll be opposed by Creighton’s Nick Musec, who took the loss in the first meeting between these teams this year. First pitch at TD Ameritrade Park is set for 6:30.
