Rockies Open Series in Pittsburgh Tonight (LISTEN LIVE on ESPN Radio 1410)

Yesterday’s Colorado Rockies game in Pittsburgh was postponed due to a snowstorm that came through the Northeast. The game has been rescheduled as part of a double-header on Wednesday, to be played 30 minutes after the originally scheduled afternoon contest that day. Tonight, the weather is expected to be better so that the Rockies and Pirates can open their three-game series at PNC Park. 49 year-old lefty Jamie Moyer takes the mound for the Rockies for his first start since he became the oldest pitcher in major league history to win a game when he went seven innings to beat the Padres in Denver last Tuesday. He’ll be opposed by Pittsburgh right-hander Kevin Correia. ESPN Radio 1410 will have the action from the Steel City tonight. Pregame coverage gets underway at 5:30, with the first pitch at 6:05.
