Husker Football Scheduled For Three Night Games in Conference Play

The Husker football team will play under the lights at least three times in the 2012 Big Ten Conference season. Three of the Big Red’s first four games in Big Ten play are scheduled for prime time. Nebraska will host night games against Wisconsin on September 29 and Michigan on October 27, and play at Ohio State at night on October 6. The Big Ten and ESPN announced 14 prime time games yesterday. 2012 will mark the seventh consecutive season in which Nebraska will play at least two home games at night. The Huskers have an all-time record of 35-5 at night at Memorial Stadium, including nine straight victories. There remains a chance that Nebraska’s non-conference home game against UCLA on September 8 may also be scheduled for a night-time kickoff, but that decision will be made by the Pac-12 Conference for their TV package.
