The Husker baseball team takes the field in Lincoln for the final time this season tonight, as they welcome Wichita State to town for a non-conference clash. The Big Red are coming off a series sweep of Minnesota over the weekend that propelled them into playoff position in the Big Ten. They’ll send Zach Hirsch to the mound to try and hold off the Shockers, who haven’t won in Lincoln since 2002. First pitch at Hawks Field tonight is set for 6:35.
