Summer Reading Program for Adults

Summer Reading Program for Adults @ the North Platte Library!

After the success of last year, the North Platte Public Library staff will again have a Summer Reading Program for adults!  This year’s theme is “Between the Covers”.

This program is independent in nature and does not require registration, attendance at meetings or any cost.

The rules are simple.  Participants, read whatever they want over the summer, and every week have a chance to win an Between the Covers prize.  Books in any format count: large print, fiction, non-fiction, e-books, audio books, etc. Books can be their own personal copy or the library’s.

For every book read, participants simply fill out a weekly drawing form (maximum of three entry forms per week). Drawings take place on Saturdays at 5:00 PM.  It is not necessary to be present to win. Plus, if they attend any of the summer series programs and brown bag luncheons, they can enter a 4th time with a special program entry form.

The program kicks off with a special program on Friday June 1st at 2:00 PM.

This program is open to adults 18 years of age and older and runs from June 1 through September 1. The first prize drawing will be Saturday, June 9th.  More information and drawing forms are available at the library.
