Oh yeah. Redmond is 27. At some point they have to take hold of their own existences.” Ryan was on the show to promote his new book, Both of Us: My Life With Farrah. LINDSAY LOHAN STILL PARTIES: Lindsay Lohan still isn’t ready to stop partying. Although the starlet was well-behaved at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner and skipped the after-parties, she hopped north to New York City, where she indulged in the late night scene. The New York Post reported that Lohan and two male friends visited Goldbar’s “Funday” party on Sunday and stayed until 5 a.m. Lindsay was reportedly holding “an unidentifiable drink with a lime” throughout the night.

NATALIE WOOD’S DAUGHTER ARRESTED: Courtney Wagner, Robert Wagner’s daughter with the late Natalie Wood, was arrested last month on suspicion of narcotics possession. E! reported that cops responded to a call about a possible shooting at Wagner’s home and discovered “multiple handguns and baggies of what appeared to be narcotics” when they arrived. The former reality star issued a statement saying, “It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my twenty-six year marriage. She recently addressed her departure from the series saying, “I didn’t want to expose my personal life so much anymore. I had done that and was over that. Rockies Late Rally Falls Short (LISTEN LIVE TODAY on ESPN Radio 1410)

For the second time in three days, a dramatic late rally fell short for the Colorado Rockies, as they fell to the Los Angeles Dodgers 7-6 at Coors Field. Rockies starting pitcher Jhoulys Chacin allowed the first four batters of the game to score and allowed seven runs total to put the Rockies behind 7-0 after four and a half innings. But the Rockies clawed back, starting with a two-run homer by Carlos Gonzalez in the sixth. Tyler Colvin added a two-run shot as part of a three-run seventh, and a Todd Helton sac fly in the eighth made it a one-run game, but Gonzalez struck out with the tying run on third to end the game. The Rockies and Dodgers play the rubber game of their three-game series in Denver this afternoon. ESPN Radio 1410 has all the action, with pregame coverage starting at 1:30 and the first pitch at 2:10.

Storm Pick Six in USHL’s Futures Draft

The Tri-City Storm selected six players in last night’s United States Hockey League Futures draft. The Storm traded down from third to seventh in the first round, acquiring a first-round entry draft pick in the deal, and used the seventh pick to select defenseman Kevin Kerr from Bensalem, Pennsylvania. They also owned the 15th overall pick, and tabbed center Dylan Pavelek from Marysville, Michigan in that slot. Center Joshua Gabriel, from Lancaster, New York, was Tri-City’s second round pick. After sitting out the third round, the Storm picked right wing Will Harrison from Springfield, Virginia in the fourth round; defenseman Travis Brown from Otsego, Minnesota in the fifth; and goaltender Jake Kielly from Eden Prarie, Minnesota in the sixth. The Futures draft is comprised of the top 15 or 16 year old players, who may not make full Storm debuts until the 2013-2014 seasons.

Nuggets Drop Game Two to Lakers

The Denver Nuggets had no answer for Kobe Bryant and the rest of the Los Angeles Lakers, and now find themselves in a 2-0 hole in their first-round Western Conference playoff series. The Lakers topped the Nuggets 104-100 at Staples Center last night. While the Nuggets were more competitive in Game Two than in their Game One defeat, they still couldn’t slow down the Lakers, especially Bryant, who poured in a game-high 38 points, and Andrew Bynum, who added 27 points. The Nuggets were led by Ty Lawson, who shook off a disappointing performance in the opener to score 25 points and hand out seven assists. Denver trailed by as many as 19 points, but did go on a 12-3 run late in the fourth quarter to get close before the Lakers closed the deal. The series shifts to Denver for Game Three on Friday night.

A.G.: Gering violated open-meetings law

Jon Bruning

GERING, Neb. (AP) – The Nebraska Attorney General’s Office says Gering violated state law on open meetings last fall.
Questions were raised about the council’s Oct. 14 meeting. Among them was whether the council could go into a closed session regarding a complaint against Mayor Ed Mayo.
Mayo said the complaint had been made about his request for inventory audits from city department heads. The mayor says a closed “personnel session” couldn’t be held because he wasn’t technically one of the city’s “personnel.”
Bruning’s office says the violation was rectified in December when the council took action in open session.

FREMONT, Neb. (AP) – A Nebraska couple who pleaded no contest to animal cruelty charges won’t be allowed to own animals for five years as part of a plea agreement.
Daniel and Ellyn Newcomer entered the plea to six misdemeanor counts on Monday in Dodge County Court. The Newcomers, who currently live in Wahoo, were arrested earlier this year after authorities removed nine dogs, three cats and a pot-bellied pig from their home in Fremont.
County Attorney Oliver Glass says he sought the six misdemeanors because six of the dogs had to euthanized, and he wants to make sure they don’t legally own pets for five years. Sentencing is June 11.
Glass says authorities won’t seek charges against the Newcomers for seven dogs that were found in February inside a storage unit they rented. Those dogs were taken to an animal shelter.
