SPICE GIRLS MUSICAL ACTUALLY HAPPENING: The Spice Girls musical, Viva Forever is reportedly coming to London’s Piccadilly Theatre in December. According to Perez Hilton, auditions will take place sometime this summer and rehearsals for the show will begin shortly there after. Previews are reportedly expected in November.
PINK HOSPITALIZED FOR THE FLU: Pink tweeted a picture of herself in the hospital last week. The singer was reportedly suffering from a stomach flu and had to be hooked up to morphine. Pink tweeted, “Maybe it’s because my mom was an ER nurse all my life – but throw me in a gown and hook me up to an IV – and I’m a happy girl. Stomach flu sucks but morphine doesn’t.”
AMY WINEHOUSE FANS UNHAPPY ABOUT SALE OF HOME: Amy Winehouse’s fans are reportedly unhappy about Amy’s family selling her home in Camden Square. Amy’s father, Mitch Winehouseresponded to the critics on Twitter. He said, “Some of you are being stupid. It costs £25,000 per month to keep house and security. That’s all I have to say on this matter.”
Snow White & the Huntsman opened strongly in first place at the box office this weekend, with the action-adventure film inspired by the classic fairy tale’s $56.3 million take well above expectations. Kristen Stewart stars as Snow White, who’s helped by huntsman Chris Hemsworth as she battles the evil queen, played by Charlize Theron. Co-starring are Ian McShane, Ray Winstone, Nick Frost and Sam Clafin.

- The Avengers, which fell one spot to third place, improved its domestic box office to $552.7 million, moving it past The Dark Knight to become third on the all-time domestic list behind Avatar andTitanic. MATTHEW FOX STRIKES PLEA DEAL: Matthew Fox has plead no contest to one count of driving under the influence stemming from his May DUI arrest. The plea was part of a deal that will keep Fox out of jail — however he must give up alcohol, complete a treatment program and can’t drive a car for a year.
ARE BRADLEY AND ZOE BACK ON? Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldana may be getting back together. Although it was recently reported that the pair split after three months of dating, they’ve been spotted hanging out lately. A witness told PerezHilton.com that the two appeared “pretty engaged” during a recent dinner. The insider added, “It looked a little more friendly than a business meeting.”
JASON ALEXANDER APOLOGIZES FOR CRICKET COMMENTS: Jason Alexander has apologized for calling the sport of cricket “gay” during an appearance on Friday on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. On the show, Alexander joked that cricket isn’t played on a “a manly baseball pitch,” but rather “a queer British gay pitch.” After his comment caused a stir, Alexander released a “message of amends” on Twitter. He wrote, “I was basing my use of the word ‘gay,’ on the silly generalization that real men don’t do genteel, refined things and that my portrayal of the cricket pitch was pointedly effeminate, thereby suggesting that effeminate and gay were synonymous.” He concluded, “So, I can only apologize and I do… I hope my realization brings some comfort.”
OCTOMOM IS STRIPPING: Octomom is now a stripper. TMZ.com reported that Nadya Suleman will be doing two shows a night at T’s Lounge in West Palm Beach, FL from July 11-15. Although T’s Lounge is generally an all-nude establishment, Octomom will reportedly only go topless. An insider said that she has felt “sexually liberated” since filming a soon-to-be-released X-rated video and decided stripping would be a good way to promote it.
OSBOURNES PAY OFF CHUNK OF TAX BILL: The Osbournes have reportedly paid off a big chunk of their outstanding tax bill. It was recently reported that the family owed over $2 million in unpaid taxes from 2007-2009. TMZ.com claims they just settled $718,000 for the 2008 bill — but still owe a total of over $1.3 million.
ANDY SAMBURG CONFIRMS SNL EXIT: Andy Samburg has confirmed that he’s leaving Saturday Night Live. It’s been long reported that the funny man was leaving the program, but he finally told the New York Times, “Obviously it’s not a huge shock, but I did officially decide not to come back.” He said that his decision to move on is “an incredibly emotional and strange moment in my life.” Samburg also addressed the recently-announced departure of his costar Kristen Wiig, telling the Times, “She kept saying it just feels like it’s her time. I connect with that. Something about it just feels like it’s the moment. My contract’s up, and I did so much more than I ever thought I would ever even do.”
NO TELL-ALL FROM SIMON’S EX: Contrary to rumors, Simon Cowell’s ex-fiance Mezhgan Hussainywill not be writing a tell-all about the X Factor mogul. The British tabloids reported that Hussainy was going to pen the book as a means of “revenge” against Cowell, but sources told TMZ that she is “not the type of person” to write a book — and that the two are still close. A rep for Hussainy confirmed that she “has absolutely no plans to write a book of any sort.”
