The North Platte First Nationals split a doubleheader with Columbus at Bill Wood Field yesterday afternoon. Jamie McKain kept the visitors bats in check in the opener as the First Nationals won 6-4. The nightcap was a slugfest, and the home team came up short in a 20-10 loss. The First Nationals are 13-11 overall and 5-2 in league play. They next head to Lincoln for four games over the weekend.
