Huskers sophomore designated hitter Mike Pritchard was named a third-team All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association. Pritchard batted .387, tops on the team, and also posted team-high totals in on base percentage at .447 and in hits with 82. His 25-game hitting streak during the season tied him for the third longest streak in the program’s history. Pritchard’s honor makes it back-to-back years that the Huskers have had an All-American. Cody Asche was a second-team pick by Collegiate Baseball last year.
