Husker designated hitter Mike Pritchard added to his collection of postseason accolades yesterday. Pritchard was named second-team All-Midwest Region by the American Baseball Coaches Association. Pritchard’s .387 batting average and .447 on base percentage led the Huskers in 2012, as did his 82 runs scored. The sophomore’s 25-game hitting streak tied him for the third-longest such streak in program history. Pritchard was previously named first-team All-Big Ten and a third-team All American.
