Former Husker men’s basketball player Aleks Maric will have the honor of representing his country at the London Olympics next month. Maric will suit up for Australia, one of twelve nations that will compete for the gold medal. After a career at Nebraska that saw him named an All-Big 12 player twice, Maric has played professionally overseas, spending the last two seasons in Greece. He is the first former Husker to participate in an Olympic Games.
