Husker junior pitcher Travis Huber made his departure from the program official yesterday as he agreed to sign with the Minnesota Twins. The Twins selected Huber in the twenty-third round of June’s Major League Baseball Entry Draft. Huber pitched one season for the Huskers after playing his first two years of college ball at the College of Southern Idaho. In 20 games, Huber posted a 3.32 ERA and notched seven saves as the Huskers’ closer.
