OAK CREEK. WIS– A mass shooting occurred in Oak Creek, Wisconsin near Milwaukee at Sikh Temple that began at 10am Sunday morning.

At least four shot including the resident of the temple. A SWAT Team is on location. Thus far the shooter has been shot down after engaging in gunfire from a police officer who has received multiple gunshots wounds but expected to survive.

The number of gun men are still unknown.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — A Milwaukee hospital is treating three victims of a shooting at a Sikh temple south of the city, all in critical condition.

Froederdt Hospital Chief Medical Office Lee Biblo says the three victims of the shooting in suburban Oak Creek are all adult men. He did not have their identities or know why they were at the temple Sunday morning when the shootings occurred.

Biblo says one of the men is in the operating room, one has been operated on and is in a surgical intensive care unit and the third is being evaluated. He says they all had gunshot wounds to the face, abdomen and extremities.

Biblo says he has reports from the scene that there are no other victims with serious injuries, but stressed that is preliminary information.
