The embattled Colorado Rockies pitching staff saw four members combine for a five-hit shutout in a 2-0 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers in Los Angeles last night. Drew Pomeranz started the game and struck out seven in his four innings. Adam Ottavino worked the next three innings and earned the victory. Matt Belisle wriggled out of trouble in the eighth, and Rafael Betancourt worked a clean ninth for his 18th save. Carlos Gonzalez and Jordan Pacheco drove in the Rockies’ runs. Rockies manager Jim Tracy was ejected in the seventh inning after a play that was initially ruled a catch by center fielder Dexter Fowler was inexplicably overturned by the umpiring crew.
