Former Husker and two-time NCAA National Champion wrestler Jordan Burroughs achieved his gold medal dream in London today. Burroughs defeated Sadegh Goudarzi of Iran in the final match of the freestyle 74 KG class. Burroughs scored one-point takedowns in each period to win the match 3-0. He draped himself in the American flag after his victory and entered the stands to hug his family, friends, and anyone else within reach.
