Husker Camp Update – Moore Departs, But Tackle Spot Still Shored Up

The Husker football team will be without the services of offensive tackle Tyler Moore for the coming season at least. Moore has left campus and will take a semester off to consider his future options, which may include a transfer but could also see him return to Nebraska. Despite a second departure at the position during fall camp, Huskers offensive coordinator Tim Beck is encouraged by the players left to man the position. “I think you’ve got veterans in Jeremiah Sirles, and Andrew Rodriguez is having a great camp, plus Brent Qvale,” Beck said. “Brandon Thompson’s done some things there before and Givens Price is really coming on. I’m really impressed with what he’s been showing us. I really like our guys. We have some veterans over there that have a lot of playing experience, and good, young talent coming up.” The Huskers went through a two-a-day workout yesterday, their first two of nine practices scheduled for this week.
