SIDNEY, Neb.— Impersonating an officer is a serious matter, and we’re not talking about dressing up for Halloween.  

O’Reiley pleaded guilty on Monday, and was sentenced to 90 days in jail where he was credited for the 71 days he served already.

The Western Nebraska man Bobby O’Reiley, 25 year old from Mitchell tried to pass off for a cop on I-80 June 3rd. O’Reiley attempted to pull over another driver when he  began to tailgate them while flashing his headlights and showing a badge of some kind.

The Nebraska State Patrol stopped O’Reiley, he had two cans of tear gas, a hand gun and a security badge.
