The Colorado Rockies finished off their first three-game series sweep of the season with style. Tyler Colvin’s two-run double in the bottom of the ninth inning gave the Rockies a walk-off 7-6 win over the Milwaukee Brewers at Coors Field. The Rockies had jumped out to another early lead, scoring three times in the first inning and once more in the second on Eric Young Jr.’s second home run in as many games. Starting pitcher Guillermo Moscoso began with four shutout innings, but he and reliever Carlos Torres combined to give up five runs and the lead in the fifth frame. The Rockies trailed 6-5 in the ninth and were two outs away from defeat, but Wilin Rosario and Young singled, setting the stage for Colvin’s heroics. Tonight the Rockies open a four-game series with the Miami Marlins in Denver. ESPN Radio 1410 has the action, with pregame coverage at 7:05 and first pitch at 7:40.
