OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — The city of Omaha now has a free smartphone app that will allow users to report graffiti, illegal dumping and other problems.
Omaha Mayor Jim Suttle unveiled the new Omaha Mobile App on Thursday. The application allows users to snap photos on their phones of problems like graffiti and submit them to the city to be fixed.
The app uses geo-tagging technology to automatically provide the problem’s location, simplifying the reporting process for users and service crews.
Through the app, users will be able to report such problems as:
– Abandoned bicycles and vehicles;
– Dead animals;
– Broken sidewalks;
– Potholes;
– And overgrown trees
